In 2017, Walmart launched the internal initiative to rebrand and elevate the longstanding brand look & feel. As part of a multileveled strategy, the company opened its first photo studio. The intent was to outfit the studio with the best talent charged with developing the new visual identity.
As the lead Art Director reporting to the Senior Creative Director, I set the photography standard for the new launch. I managed the retouching direction for all the editorial imagery used to support the website refresh for the lifestyle, studio, still-life and home divisions.
